Everyone has those instances where they have pangs of hunger at 12 in the morning. I do, almost every night. This kind of snack is also perfect for people in a college dorm. So, I keep a few things in the fridge at all times. One such example is the ingredients for a flatbread pizza. The taste of a regular pizza and a flatbread pizza is pretty similar, except that the quantity of bread you eat is a lot less so technically its a lot healthier.
For Flatbread Pizzas:
- Tomato, cubed
- Mozzarella, shredded
- Sprigs of Basil
- Pasta/Pizza Sauce
Start by spreading some pizza/pasta sauce on your flatbread. If you don’t like using readymade sauce, you can make a whole batch and freeze it in small quantities and defrosting it whenever required.
Next, add a few cubes of tomato and mozzarella. Heat the pizza in the oven for about 10 minutes or till the cheese has melted.
Once out of the oven add a few leaves of basil and some more mozzarella (if you want).
